These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Resumai, operated by ResumAI LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Resumai is an AI-powered resume coaching tool that analyzes your resume against job descriptions and suggests improvements. The service is provided as-is. We make no guarantees that using Resumai will result in a job offer, interview, or any other employment outcome. All suggestions are for informational purposes only — you are responsible for reviewing them for accuracy before use.

2. Your Account

You must sign in to use Resumai. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You may not share your account or use the service on behalf of others without authorization.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Attempt to circumvent rate limits or access controls
• Use the service to generate misleading, fraudulent, or harmful content
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or resell any part of the service
• Submit content that violates any law or third-party rights

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the service.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Resumai offers a free plan (3 analyses per month) and a Pro plan ($10/month). All payments are processed by Stripe — we never store your payment card information.

Pro subscriptions renew automatically each month. You may cancel at any time from your Stripe billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.

5. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of the resume content and job descriptions you submit. By using the service, you grant ResumAI LLC a limited license to process that content solely to provide the service. We do not use your content to train AI models.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ResumAI LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months prior to the claim.

7. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will update the "Last updated" date above when changes are made.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to conflict of law principles.
